Estimating Intern

Job Summary:


We are seeking an Estimating Intern to join our team. The intern will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects and providing detailed proposals. The ideal candidate will have Blue print reading experience, Excel knowledge and willingness to learn! A mentor will be given from Day 1. This role has the opportunity to continue into the Fall as well as go FULL TIME!

Responsibilities:


- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates
- Utilize construction estimating software to create detailed proposals
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids

Job Type: Internship

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • No weekends
  •  

Ability to Commute:

  • Kaukauna, WI 54130 (Required)
