
Snow Hydrology Field Technician
Position Title: Snow Hydrology Field Technician
Position Summary: Collect, collate, analyze and synthesize snowpack data to assess the variation of snowpack properties within forests of different silvicultural activities. The work may be in collaboration with the Colorado State Forest Service and some of their management units.

Responsibilities/Duties:
• plan the collection of snowpack measurements in forested areas
• collect snowpack measurements
• analyze snowpack data
• synthesize datasets
• write a report of process and findings
Required Qualifications:
• a degree or advanced standing in natural resources, engineering, soil soil or similar
• analytical skills
• good organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• field experience and competence in winter settings
• experience with snowpack measurements
Number of weekly working hours: 10-30
Potential Start date and duration: February 2025 through October 2025
Number of Openings: 1
Hourly Pay Rate: $20.00
