Horse stable worker, temporary, part-time

 

  • The Hofmann Center for Reproduction at New Bolton Center – part of the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of PA – is looking for a part-time, temporary stable worker. 
  • The Hofmann Center provides comprehensive reproductive services for mares, stallions, and food & fiber animals and is located at 443 Bartram Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348 (https://www.vet.upenn.edu/veterinary-hospitals/NBC-hospital/services/reproduction)
  • Duties: cleaning and disinfecting horse stalls, cleaning run-in-sheds, turning out horses for exercise, and feeding.
  • Schedule: up to 20 hours/week, daytime only, expected to work every other weekend. 
  • The position will be available March to July. Compensation: $17/hour.
  • Qualifications: previous experience working with horses preferred. Must be authorized to work in the US.
