UPR Access Utah Program Producer

Utah Public Radio's premier public affairs call-in program Access Utah is in need of a producer. The producer helps to brainstorm and select topics and guests for episodes of this daily program. The producer is responsible for booking guests and arranging all details leading up to the broadcast of each episode. The producer is also responsible for short, medium-range and long-range planning for the the program.  The producer may serve as engineer for the program, running a sound board, voicing station breaks etc. The producer may also be asked to take audio from selected episodes and create news stories or feature reports from the episodes. The producer works with and under the supervision of the host and executive producer.
