Summer Intern Program
Upbound Group’s 2025 Summer Intern Program offers an immersive professional development experience that goes beyond traditional internships, providing participants with a comprehensive opportunity to grow both personally and professionally through dynamic networking events, engaging volunteer activities, and exclusive executive leadership speaker sessions. Interns can anticipate a robust learning environment that balances structured training modules with self-paced learning pathways, enabling them to explore their potential, develop critical skills, and gain meaningful insights into corporate culture.
Program Dates
The ten-week program will run from June 2 through August 8, 2025, and is an in-office experience at our company headquarters in Plano, Texas.
The Role
As a Product Management Intern, you will collaborate closely with the Product Management team to help design, build, and launch innovative solutions in the lease-to-own space. This hands-on internship will offer exposure to a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you’ll gain experience in product strategy, development, and execution.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting in product research, identifying customer pain points, and analyzing market trends to inform product decisions.
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps by working with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX/UI design, and operations.
- Gathering and documenting user feedback to ensure continuous product improvement and alignment with customer needs.
- Participating in the development of product requirements and user stories and helping to prioritize features based on business value and customer impact.
- Conducting competitive analysis to understand industry trends and opportunities for Upbound Group.
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and presentations to communicate product updates and project status to stakeholders.
In addition to your daily responsibilities, as an intern you will also participate in:
- Professional Development Workshops focused on growing your product management and leadership skills.
- Cross-Departmental Networking with teams such as engineering, UX design, and marketing.
- Mentorship Opportunities to receive personalized guidance and career development from experienced product managers.
- Corporate Events and Initiatives, including team-building activities and volunteer opportunities.

Compensation
Summer Interns at Upbound Group are paid hourly in accordance with usual payroll procedures.
$20.00 per hour
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Business Administration or Strategy degree, with an expected graduation between May 2025 and December 2026
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work in our home office in Plano, Texas Monday through Friday
