Sales Associate

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Full time and Part Time Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our retail environment. You will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, maintaining store appearance, and contributing to a collaborative team atmosphere. Your ability to communicate effectively and work well with others will be essential in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and increase sales.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to provide informed recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and ensure a smooth workflow.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support during shifts.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing for customers.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales and/or interior design is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts.
• Experience with cash registers or POS systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting while also taking initiative when needed.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in the store.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
