Children's Summer Reading Program Assistant

Memorial Library of Nazareth and Vicinity, Children’s Summer Reading Program

Part time, May – August. Training will be provided.

Assisting with Children’s programs, story times, crafts, special events.

Our ideal candidate will . . .

. . . be 18 years of age or older and have a background or area of study in childhood development or education.

. . . be outgoing, energetic and enjoy working with children. Policy requires a parent or caretaker to be present at all times in the same space as their child or children visiting the library. Your sole responsibility is to entertain!

. . . be able to assist with decorating the Children’s space and bulletin boards. Creativity is important! Our theme this summer is “Color Our World” and is devoted to the arts.

. . . have some musical talent. Sing-a-longs are part of our programming too!
