Assistant Branch Manager
Our Assistant Branch Manager supports the Branch Manager to provide a positive environment for the members and branch employees guided by our Service Standards. In addition, you will assist with branch training and daily operations to help build a high-performance team.
- Develop a high performing team that meets the cultural standards of Texas Trust while cultivating a strong member portfolio;
- Deliver effective feedback that provides relevance through observations, coaching, and one-on-ones;
- Collaborate with Branch Manager to establish measurable development goals and create a positive work environment;
- Acquire loyal members by building rapport and tailoring products and services to meet their needs
- Effectively utilize decision making skills to deliver exceptional member service and lead by example for your team;
- Holds team members accountable for results, including required competencies, service behaviors, policies, and procedures;
- Support business development efforts through active participation in community functions and credit union events;
- Assist with the efficient operation of the branch office regarding personnel, equipment, supplies and maintenance;
- Operational Standards to be met through regular audits, compliance, training, and loss mitigation
- Ensure the prevention of fraudulent activities through adherence to Credit Union policies and procedures;
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws was well as Texas Trust policies and procedures;
- Assist members with any requests for service as needed;
- Monitor branch cash controls to ensure member needs are met, while adhering to branch limits;
- Effectively control expenses while practicing responsible financial management;
- Practices and brings to life with the team our “Yes And… culture;
- Comply with established regulations and law requirements;
- Perform various duties as assigned.
Required Experience
- Minimum two (2) years of college with emphasis in Finance, Business, or Management; or two (2) years’ experience with a financial institution with emphasis in cash operations and financial services
- One (1) year experience in leadership and supervision preferred
- Must have general knowledge of Windows OS and MS Office software
Skills, Education and/or Certifications Required
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Ability to operate multiple computer systems efficiently
- Requires an organized, meticulous self-starter who is able to work independently
- Strong processing, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Possess a strong work ethic and an adaptable team player mentality
- Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to member satisfaction
- Required to manage all member information in a confidential manner
- Professional written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays
- Position may require extended periods of sitting or standing, and lifting under 10 pounds
