Uwill Summer Marketing Intern

Uwill is the leading mental health and wellness solution for colleges. Utilizing its proprietary technology and counselor network, Uwill offers students an immediate connection to an available therapist based on needs and preferences. Uwill provides a secure environment and facilitates telehealth sessions, direct crisis connection 24/7/365, on-demand wellness programing, and more. Uwill provides the most cost-effective way to complement a college's mental health offering and has worked with leading institutions including University of Michigan, Morgan State University, Villanova, and Dartmouth College.  

Uwill is seeking candidates for its 2025 summer internship program in the marketing department. This is a paid internship requiring 20 hours per week throughout June and July.

About the role:
Interns are integrated into the company with a focus on developing tangible and transferable skills. Projects are designed to spark critical thinking, creativity, and personal growth.  Interns are not occupied with busy work. They work directly with mentors that reflect their career interests on projects tailored to experiential learning in marketing. Each year projects are designed to meet the current needs of the company while honoring the intern’s individual skillset. Marketing interns can follow different paths depending on prior work experience and skill set. Paths include content development, video editing, copywriting, digital marketing, and public relations. 

The ideal candidate skills:
-Creative with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative ideas for campaigns, content creation, and problem solving.
-Strong communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills that convey ideas effectively while being clear and concise
-Analytical thinking: an understanding of data analysis and the ability to draw insights from metrics
-Social media savviness: an awareness of the dynamics of social media platforms, their algorithms and trends
-Basic design and content creation skills: a knowledge of graphic design tools and content creation software
-Marketing knowledge: basic understanding of marketing principles, previous coursework in marketing, or prior relevant internship experience
