Our clients include various types of fundamentally driven alternative investment firms (private equity firms, hedge funds, credit firms, etc.) across the United States. We are a privately held firm based in Manhattan.
Position
We are looking for a full-time summer intern to help support the firm’s research and recruiting capabilities. This encompasses maintaining up-to-date candidate and client records, gathering business intelligence, and supporting various searches for our clients. The intern will receive direct mentorship from the firm’s Head of Market Knowledge as well as team members on the Market Knowledge team. They will gain a strong understanding of the executive search industry and will learn about the alternative investment space (including the markets/products that pertain to specific searches). Successful interns will be considered for a full-time position.
Responsibilities
- Updating and maintaining the company’s proprietary internal database
- Conducting market mappings of Private Equity, Hedge Fund, Equity Research, and Investment Banking teams
- Helping source and build talent pipelines with members of the recruiting team
- Researching relevant industries, target companies, and candidates utilizing industry platforms such as LinkedIn and Bloomberg
- Assisting in ad hoc projects
An ideal candidate for the Market Knowledge Internship position is organized, with exceptional data management and research skills, and has high attention to detail. They have the initiative to lead assignments with minimal guidance or supervision. They also have a strong interest in finance. Applicants must be undergraduate students with an anticipated graduation date between June 2026 - June 2027. Interns are expected to work 35-40 hours per week full-time in the office. The program duration is 8-10 weeks depending on the intern’s availability and firm’s needs.
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The position is a full-time internship for Summer 2025, with the possibility of a part-time internship in Spring 2025.
