Location
We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated contributor to join our team in one of our key office locations: San Francisco. This is a fully immersive, in-office role, requiring the intern to be onsite 4 to 5 days per week.

Technology experience is the guiding force of our work and our Workplace Technologies Support Interns help ensure we are providing world class on site technology support for our employees and our spaces.
In this role, you will be responsible for speedy issue resolution for employee IT issues, proactive improvements, and have a strong customer first mindset. You will be part of a globally distributed onsite support team that provides IT support for our employees as well as maintaining in-office technologies such as Zoom rooms, printers, digital signage, among others.
You will also share knowledge with our employees, helping them to use technology to power their productivity as we continue on our journey. You will be a strong advocate for our employees, learning and understanding their technology challenges and championing change with our technology solutions that makes it easier to get our best work done. Our team is helping to transform the future of work, which isn’t easy but is tremendously fun and rewarding. We work on challenging problems, are data driven, and always focus on the employee experience
What You’ll Get To Do
Daily support of onsite technologies including laptops, desktops, and workplace technologies.
Daily conference room system checks and preventative maintenance. This will include confirming function and fixing any found issues.
Create knowledge base articles to support timely troubleshooting.
Create best practice videos for OktaTV.
Break/Fix support as issues are discovered and resolving issues in a timely manner. Resolving support tickets in a timely manner.
Learn how to prevent reoccurring issues and improve system stability.
Become a resource for users to learn how to use conference rooms.
Live event support during all company meetings and smaller meetings in All Hands space.
Support remote users attending meetings and monitor event recording.
Who We are Looking For
General IT troubleshooting skills.
Ability to document technical systems and issues.
Experience with networking and understanding of DHCP, DNS, VLANs and VPN.
Experience with video conferencing.
Experience with macOS, iOS and Windows.
Understanding of SaaS application management.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, data-driven, adaptable, with strong time management skills.
Experience with Confluence or other knowledge base platforms.
Experience with ServiceNow is (a plus).
Experience with Slack, Google Suite, MAC OSX, Windows OS, Okta.

As an intern, you’ll do real work that matters. While you’re on board, you’ll work on meaningful projects and have an opportunity to see what working at Okta is all about. You’ll also have the guidance of your mentor and manager to help you develop new skills.

We offer 12 week internships in the U.S. in the Summer and 16 week co-ops in Canada.
