
Quality Assurance Coordinator
Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that all products and quality control processes meet established quality requirements. This role assures our company, products and staff are exceeding expectations to be our most innovative and best for everyone. This role maintains our ISO certification and OSHA standards working across all departments cohesively.
Major Duties:
- ISO 9001 Certification
- Manage the complete process of keeping our business ISO 9001 certified.
- Quality Assurance Management/OSHA
- Develop and implement QA policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct regular audits and review to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare for and participate in external audits and inspections.
- Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and update processes accordingly.
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including QA/QC manuals, procedures, and records.
- Generate regular activity quality reports and present findings to management.
- Document non-conformances and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Training and Development
- Conduct training sessions for staff on quality standards and procedures.
- Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement among employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in quality management, Engineering or similar field - preferred
- Proven experience in quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. ISO 9001) and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Possess a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Reliable transportation with attendance being a priority
Preferred Software Knowledge:
- Inventory Management System(s) – Oracle, Fishbowl, SalesForce – Preferred
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite - Required
- Familiar with VOIP phone systems – Preferred
- Ability to use inventory /software programs for reporting – e.g. spreadsheets/pivotable - Preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk (often)
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. (rarely)
- Warehouse environments with occasional extreme heat/loud machinery (occasionally)
