CNC Operator - Windsor, CA

Summary:

BamCore is seeking skilled CNC Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team at our Windsor, CA location. CNC Operators play a crucial role in our production process by operating CNC machines to produce high-quality, precision framing panels. This position requires a deep understanding of CNC machinery, technical drawings, and the ability to maintain strict quality standards. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to meet production goals and maintain product quality. Operators will be expected to handle a variety of tasks, from preparing and loading raw materials into the machines to inspecting finished products for accuracy and quality. In addition to operating the machines, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the production process. This role also involves working closely with the engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure that all components meet the required specifications and standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in CNC operations, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines to produce finished panels according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure proper functioning.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machinery and production processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Maintain accurate records of machine settings, maintenance activities, and production output. Complete necessary paperwork and reports as required.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production efficiency and workflow.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of CNC machinery, tools, and equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing setting.
  • Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.

Education and Experience:

  • High school degree/equivalent or higher
  • technical certification or associate degree in CNC machining or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to communicate in English
  • Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Basic Computer/Tablet Operations
  • Basic Excel Data Input
  • Experience with machining and power tools preferred
  • Background in industrial or manufacturing settings preferred
  • Forklift operator (preferred but not required)

Hours of work: 

Hours may vary according to shift schedules. Overtime may be required based on the project or job.

Wage: 

Depends on experience (Starting at $20.00/hr)
