Position Description:
Florida Housing Finance Corporation is recruiting a business professional to join our team as a Data Infrastructure Developer. This position will be integrally involved with data infrastructure development, data intake, organization, validation, analysis, and reporting. The position will entail strategic planning, data analytics, ETL development, report design, and deploying and maintaining newly created data lakes, warehouses, and marts. We are looking for an individual who wishes not only to respond to requests and new initiatives but also to research, learn, and lead in the areas of modern data analytics and stewardship strategies.
Position Requirements:
- Onsite Tallahassee office complex – no remote work – open team environment
- A degree in Information Systems, Management or Business or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Design, development, implementation, enhancement, troubleshooting, and support of a Data Warehouse environment and interacting processes (data sources, ETL development and troubleshooting, acquisition, ODS, marts, BI delivery, etc.)
- Strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server 2022 and SQL Server Management Studio
- 4+ years of experience in T-SQL programming
- 4+ years of SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Azure/Power BI conversion
- Training or experience in SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS)
- Training or experience in SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- Experience in:
- The SDLC
- Data modeling
- Requirements gathering, specifications prep
- Ability to design, construct, validate and maintain complex reports
Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge/experience in:
- Managing large datasets from multiple sources
- Basic DBA experience
- Business process development
- Change management
- Azure DevOps and Git
- Systems transformation
- Data stewardship and governance

Salary and Benefits:
Anticipated annual hiring salary is $85,000 to $95,000 commensurate with qualifications, experience and knowledge related to the position. Florida Housing provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, life, dental, vision, short and long-term disability insurance, and other miscellaneous programs. Paid vacation, sick and personal leave; 11 paid holidays; and 401/457 retirement accounts.
