Human Resources Summer Intern

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated HR Summer Associate to join our Human Resources team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HR processes, audits, and data management, contributing to the team’s operational success.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Scan and organize backlogged items to ensure proper recordkeeping and documentation.
  • Submit Leave of Absence (LOA) delays for associates returning from Education leave.
  • Conduct audits of OnBase files to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Review payroll items and verify associate setup in ADP for accuracy.
  • Perform I-9 audits to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
  • Audit onboarding documentation and processes for new hires.
  • Load training class information into ADP and maintain accurate training records.
  • Audit LEAP (Leadership Engagement and Advancement Program) files to ensure compliance and accuracy.

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with HR systems such as ADP and OnBase.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
