Marketing Intern - Woodvine Consulting

Woodvine Consulting, a Boise-based firm specializing in business strategy and marketing services for architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) firms, seeks a Marketing Intern. 

Working directly with our Founder/CEO, you will gain comprehensive exposure to professional services marketing in the AEC industry. This role bridges strategic planning and hands-on execution across both internal operations and client projects. You'll develop practical skills in project management, content creation, and marketing strategy while working in a collaborative environment.

Key focus areas include creating engaging content across various platforms, conducting market research, analyzing data, and contributing to strategic planning initiatives. You'll help develop communication procedures, design graphics for client presentations, manage social media content calendars, and support website management. The position also offers experience in proposal development and creating firm qualifications materials.

This internship provides an ideal opportunity to build a strong foundation in professional services marketing while working directly with clients and leadership in a growing consulting practice.

Minimum Requirements:

• Junior or Senior pursuing business, marketing, or communications degree
• Must be a current Boise State student, enrolled full-time in classes with a graduation date of August or later.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to handle confidential information
• Motivated self-starter
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Basic graphic design skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Adobe Suite (especially InDesign)
• Experience with Canva or Adobe Express
• Social media management experience
• Experience in marketing, consulting, or the AEC industry

Internship Location 
Woodvine Consulting believes in maintaining an atmosphere where questions are encouraged and professional growth flourishes. While based out of a home office in Southeast Boise, work happens wherever it makes sense - at a client's office, a coffee shop, or the library. The position is intended to be a hybrid arrangement with consistent in-person collaboration.

Internship Timeframe

• 10-20 hours per week (maximum of 160 hours total)
• May 2025 - August 2025 - pick a start date that aligns with your needs

Compensation

• $16.50 per hour, paid by Boise State College of Business and Economics
