Credentialing Specialist

 We are looking to grow our team and add more credentialing specialist! Do you have experience credentialing and working with contracts in the Behavioral health industry? 

JOB PURPOSE: Handles all facility contracts including amendments, new contracts and contract maintenance.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Thoroughly completes all client contracting requests.
  • Utilizes a variety of systems to ensure proper information is being provided.
  • Communicates with clients to ensure an understanding of the credentialing process.
  • Communicates with clients to ensure we have proper documentation that follows payer requirements for credentialing.
  • Communicates with clients credentialing updates monthly.
  • Build rapport and relationships with contract representatives to ensure that all requirements are understood and followed.
  • Negotiate contract rates.
  • Respond to client inquiries and questions within 24 hours.
