Occupational Therapist / COTA (Per Diem)
The Speech Pathology Group & Rehab Services of CT is seeking a highly passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist / Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for PER DIEM COVERING Shifts at our SHELTON and SOUTHBURY, CT Clinic locations!
The SPGCT therapy team is passionate about what we do both in the clinic and in the community to fulfill our mission of “creating a place where families receive high quality care, feel supported and are important.” Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year experience in the field and has experience in the pediatric clinic setting (fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, gross motor, activities of daily living, reflex integration, self-help, self-regulation, cognitive development).
Occupational Therapist / COTA responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Planning and implementation of appropriate treatment sessions
- Developing and implementing goals, plans of care
- Parent education and training
- Timely completion of documentation and billing
- Effective communication skills with patients, parents and staff
- Strong organizational skills and creativity of session planning
- Flexibility to adapt to different environment and settings
- Attendance of department and OT staff meetings
- Always ensuring child’s health and safety
- Engaging in multi-collaboration opportunities with other related services
Location: Southbury / Shelton, CT Clinic
Job Type: Per Diem
Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 12 per week, as needed

Requirements:
- Currently hold an CT Occupational Therapy State license
- AOTA/NBCOT Certification
- Meet all professional requirements and rules of professional conduct as an Occupational Therapist/COTA including maintaining licensure and CEUs
- Pediatric experience required (minimum 1 year)
