Landscape Laborer
Job Summary:
The Landscape Laborer will assist the owner in all aspects of landscape maintenance and installation. This role involves physical labor, working outdoors, and collaborating with the owner to execute landscaping projects efficiently. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, and has a passion for working with plants and outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the owner in landscape design, installation, and maintenance tasks.
- Perform general labor duties, including planting, weeding, mulching, shoveling, and pruning.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of garden beds, lawns, and other outdoor areas.
- Load and unload materials, including soil, plants, rock and mulch.
- Follow instructions and work collaboratively with the owner to achieve project goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper storage of tools and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with the owner and provide updates on project progress.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and landscaping principles is a plus.
- Familiarity with landscaping tools and equipment is advantageous.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow directions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
