Social Content Strategist

Position Summary:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Social Content Strategist to join our marketing team. This on-site position will span both Lipsey’s and Haspel, two distinct family-owned companies that operate independently within the same facility. In this role, you will create, organize, and execute social media campaigns that will align with both brand voices and values. Working within the marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our online presence and engaging our audiences.
 

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute social media posts and campaigns across multiple platforms to align with company objectives.
Create and manage social content calendars with clearly defined timelines.
Write engaging and creative copy for social posts, product descriptions, and trade show/media events. 
Monitor, analyze, and report on social and digital campaign performance using platforms like Meta Business Suite, YouTube Analytics, Google AdWords, and Instagram Insights.
Utilize social media planning tools and enhancements such as HubSpot, Buffer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and LinkTree to optimize content strategy.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, regulations, and best practices.
Work with videographer and team to organize and schedule on-location photo and video shoots.
 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
 

Minimum of four years of experience working in social media management, digital marketing, and/or content creation with the ability to demonstrate previous/current work.
Advanced knowledge of all social media platforms, including technical details like size ratios, video lengths, posting regulations, and best practices.
Proven ability to analyze and interpret data from social and digital campaign analytics platforms to optimize future campaigns.
High-level use and understanding of social media planning tools and enhancements.
Experience in creating, posting, and managing social content calendars.
Exceptional creative copywriting skills with grammatical accuracy.

 

Helpful Attributes:

Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
Basic knowledge of website content management systems (Shopify, WordPress, Wix).
Basic knowledge of SEO and SEM.
