Wholesale and E-commerce Intern

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist with our wholesale and e-commerce operations. This is a valuable learning opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience in running a small business in New York. You'll gain exposure to multiple aspects of operations, from product management to logistics, in a collaborative and supportive environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Update and maintain product listings on our wholesale and e-commerce websites.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure product availability is accurately reflected online.
  • Assist in communicating with wholesale retailers, including providing updates on new products, restocks, and order statuses.
  • Help with the upkeep and organization of our studio to maintain an efficient workspace.
  • Receive and organize deliveries, ensuring items are checked and stored properly.
  • Assist with order fulfillment, including packing and shipping products to customers.
  • Organize and manage product samples for wholesale accounts and events.
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and implement strategies for enhancing our e-commerce presence.
     

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms like Shopify or similar tools (experience preferred but not required).
  • Interest in ethical fashion, sustainability, and artisanal craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be adaptable to a variety of tasks.
  • Comfortable assisting with physical tasks, such as receiving deliveries and packing orders.

Schedule & Commitment:

  • Minimum of 2 days per week in person at our studio in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
  • Flexible scheduling to accommodate coursework or other commitments.

 

Compensation:

  • $10-15 per hour
  • We are happy to work with your school for credit, if applicable.
