Dexcom: Operations Engineering Intern

This paid internship is only open to undergraduate college students who are Pell Grant eligible. Proof of financial aid award is required.

Looking to spend your summer working with innovative technology and changing the lives
of patients with diabetes? Dexcom’s U.S. 12-week internship program provides an
experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Our onsite,
hybrid, and remote work models ensure that we can invite diverse and talented intern

The Sensor Process Development team works on new process and product integrations for
global operations teams, with a focus on sensor performance. My team specifically focus
on sensor performance of finished goods and completed systems – through sterilizatio
distribution, and use. We develop new analytical methods for correlating field a
benchtop performance to improve our predictive power of the quality and longevity of our
manufactured goods. This role will focus on test method development and correlation to
performance in use.

WHERE YOU COME IN
● You will support the development of test methods and manufacturing processes
and validations.
● You will independently execute testing and developing iterative improvements to
our understanding of continuous glucose monitors at the sensor and system
performance level.
● You will confer with vendors to determine basic product specifications and arran
for purchase of small equipment, materials, fixtures, and/or parts. Evaluat
products according to specifications and quality standard
● You will apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing and fie
performance data to identify issues and opportunities for improvements.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The team includes diverse interactions with a Graphic Designer, Talent Marketing
Manager/Sr Manager, and Business Intelligence Analyst.
The role will facilitate on-brand, multi-channel engagements with four key personas across
the globe to increase the visibility of the Dexcom and influence applications. It is a facet
role that requires strong communication skills, project management and analysis. You’ll
connect the dots from what employees’ experience from learning about Dexcom, to
applying, to interviewing, to choosing to join, to their first weeks as an employee and wh
behaviors and interactions lead to high engagement.

YEARS/MAJORS CONSIDERED
Seniors (graduating 2026), Juniors (graduating 2027), Sophomores (graduating 2028)
Bioengineering and chemical engineering are preferred but we are willing to consider
applicants from any engineering or scientific disciplines 

PAY
$27-29 per hour


LOCATION
Hybrid 3 days a week onsite in San Diego M-F 8 to 5
