  • Assist the Senior Associate Director of Events with career fairs and various event coordination
  • Attend career fairs and events and assist in event running smoothly (event duties include but not limited to: assist in set-up, tear down of event, student and employer questions, and assisting employers with carrying materials.
  • Create and edit communication materials for employers and fair attendees (Pomerantz Career Center Website, excel spreadsheets, folder documents, etc)
  • Develop Qualtrics surveys for various events + research projects
  • Review and approve events on Handshake 
  • Upload events on the UI events calendar
  • Recruit & coordinate volunteers (schedule, assign duties, train, and supervise) for events
  • Other duties related to events as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • One year commitment required (Fall and Spring)
  • Independent thinker
  • Self-starter
  • Knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of Handshake
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word 
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions is a must!
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
