My ideal candidate is someone I can trust and depend on to be themselves, value the unique selves of others, and do the work that helps us all to succeed in our shared visions.

NAMI is a grassroots organization of volunteers serving others in the community with the mission of helping EVERYONE who's lives are impacted by mental illness. It's a big job, and we're a small team, but that mission inspires us at all points in our journey and leads us to amazing places. It is a LOT of work, but it is also a LOT of fun. And it is a rewarding and life-changing experience. We're excited to meet you!

This is a hybrid position- The nature of our community work happens "in the community" which in today's world takes place most often online, allowing for great work to be done in remotely. Additionally, because our office is small and access is sometimes restricted, we will have meetings and team projects in person out in the world of coffee shops, libraries, etc. The mix of independent remote work and in-person activity is productive, flexible, and fun.
