General Manager Trainee Rotation Program
United Access is a wholly owned retail company in the BraunAbility family.
The General Manager Trainee Rotation Program is a three-year program aimed to develop the experience, skills, and talent needed to ultimately manage one of our retail store locations. The end result of the program will enable you to lead a team, focused on running the sales, service and operations of a branch that produces $5-7 Million revenue on an annual basis contributing to the overall goals of the Braun Ability United Access organization.
Begin your journey with United Access learning the Mobility Specialist (sales) role at one of our 45 locations nationwide. You will spend a year working side by side with one or more Mobility Specialists under the leadership of a General Manager. The time spent in this rotation will focus on understanding the industry and the customer base, learning and mastering the sales process and gaining the skills needed to achieve the revenue goals of the store.
Your next adventure will involve moving to a different store location and taking on a role leading an automotive service department. Our service departments are at the heart of what we do, providing general maintenance, installations, and repairs on our customers’ vehicles. The role will focus on building a strong understanding of the service department, how to sell, schedule and book service and how service contributes to the overall performance of the retail store.
The final rotation will be at the store location where you will call home as a General Manager. You will be placed as a Mobility Specialist honing your sales and customer experience abilities while working under a General Manager who will guide you in developing an overall understanding of the General Manager role including, marketing, sales, service, financial and business acumen and P & L accountability.
In addition to the hands-on learning described above, the trainee will also be paired with an experienced general manager mentor and in the third year have the opportunity to be part of a critical project team. This participation will expose them to broader business projects and provide the opportunity to collaborate and build connections across the business as well as present to the leadership team. Each trainee will receive full onboarding for the Mobility Specialist and Service Manager rotations and in the second and third year complete the People Leadership Learning Series.
Qualifications
- We are seeking individuals who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in a Health related or Business program.
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or non-profit work is preferred.
- The willingness to relocate to a new city throughout the United States each year of the program is required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

- Salary $56,000 - $75,000 based on location and year in program
