Department Summary
The Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts Student Success Center provides programming and support to develop current students and alumni into citizen artists and difference makers who engage in meaningful and impactful careers. The CPCA Student Success Center works with students on an individual basis with career development preparedness, professional development programming, and other programming like the guest speaker series Avenues in the Arts.
Job Summary
The CPCA Student Success Center is seeking a student with videography and editing skills to assist the Career Development Coordinator in several projects related to social media and content development, expanding the growth of the department’s online presence. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about collaborating to create content that can be reached by all CPCA students and the greater Temple University community.
Work Schedule
- Flexible based on student’s schedule
- Part time: 10 hours/week
- Ability to work remotely and attend regular weekly meetings in-person at Rock Hall
- Ability to go to on-site events to capture footage when student’s schedule allows
Primary Duties
- Generate promotional content including Instagram posts, reels, TikToks, and LinkedIn
- Complete general professional development research
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current matriculated Undergraduate CPCA student for the 2024-2025 school year
- Eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong writer with experience using Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Organized, mature and effective communicator
- Creative and flexible
Preferred skills:
- Familiarity with Canva or similar graphic design tools
- Video editing experience, Adobe Suite a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Learning Outcomes
A successful candidate will build their own portfolio as part of this role and will be credited for their work by practicing their research, video and editing skills. The goal is for students in this internship to build experience that they can use to strengthen their future applications in similar fields.

This internship is part of the Temple University Internship Program (TUIP), which is open to all undergraduates. Students cannot obtain academic credit for this internship.
