Intern Title 

Capital City Public Market – Local Business Intern

Capital City Public Market (CCPM)  

Note: CCPM is a 501c(6) Nonprofit entity 

Internship Location 

The CCPM market occurs every Saturday from April 12, 2025 to mid-December in downtown Boise 

Interns will also have the opportunity to work with CCPM member businesses at other locations, such as brick-and-mortar locations and for marketing activities.  See below. 

Internship Timeframe 

Part-time: 10-20 hours per week, max 160 hours per intern 

May 2025 - August 2025  

Compensation 

$16.50 per hour, paid by Boise State College of Business and Economics, through the Bronco Corps program

Internship Overview / Description 

The intern can work with CCPM leadership and its member businesses, drawing from 2 perspectives: 

Managing the CCPM: leveraging and developing the skills and passions of the intern in the context of running, staffing, marketing, etc of a nonprofit organization composed of local businesses and many volunteers 

Working with member businesses: the intern may also work with local businesses in the context of understanding and contributing to producing, selling, and managing a business that sells at the CCPM 

Requirements / Desired Qualifications 

The intern should have an interest in the components of running a business, like a market or seller at a market 

The intern should have a general area of interest (marketing, finance, operations, etc) that they want to focus on and learn more about, an area where they feel they can also offer something of value 

Good candidates might also be interested in: nonprofits, vendor events, local business development, or vendor event management

*This internship will run May - Aug 2025.

*Must be a current Boise State student, enrolled in classes, graduation date Aug 2025 or later
*Cannot exceed working 40 hours per week, this includes other on- campus employment
*Okay with $16.50/hour up to 160 hours
