Looking to spend your summer working with innovative technology and changing the lives
of patients with diabetes? Dexcom’s U.S. 12-week internship program provides an
experience driven program aimed at developing the next generation of talent. Our onsite,
hybrid, and remote work models ensure that we can invite diverse and talented intern
classes from across the country. Interns will have the chance to gain knowledge and
develop their skills while contributing to key company projects and initiatives. Dexcom

JOB TITLE
Public Relations Intern
PROJECT
Come join our dynamic public relations team that’s passionate about storytelling and
sustaining Dexcom’s reputation. Our team is dedicated to building and maintaining strong
relationships with media, relevant stakeholders including non-profits, and our community
Stelo Ambassadors. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced
professionals who will help you gain insights into industry trends, participate in high-impact
projects and contribute to campaigns that make a difference.
● Stelo
○ Help introduce/launch new Stelo features to users and reporters via press
release distribution, potential campaign, earned media coordination, etc.
● G-Series
○ Help coordinate Season 4 of Dexcom U, a NIL program designed to
celebrate college athletes with diabetes and inspire people with diabetes
who have athletic dreams of their own
WHERE YOU COME IN
● Your work will lay the groundwork in building the public relations foundation of
Stelo, the first over-the-counter biosensor available in the U.S., during its first
on the market.
● You will assist with the coordination for announcements and relevant media
opportunities to spotlight Stelo and highlight the importance of understanding your
glucose.
● You will work cross-functionally with marketing, enterprise communications and
partnership teams to ideate on key moments that will need to be promoted
internally and externally.
● You will monitor industry and competitor news, providing summaries and flags
share with leadership.
● You will assist with the Stelo Ambassador program including researching, identifying
and managing influencers who align with brand values for creative collaboration
well as help with task management such as reporting, content planning, event
logistics and contracting.
