Business Development Specialist Internship

SUMMARY:
As a Business Development Intern, this individual will assist the sales teams throughout the different stages of the sales process while receiving training on effective sales techniques and learning about PERRY proTECH products and services. This person is responsible for completing all tasks assigned by the manager, including updating client records, communicating with clients and prospects, and conducting research.

- Assist the sales team in managing and growing business through cold calling, emails, and customer prospecting
- Perform market research to identify new business opportunities
- Assist the sales team in collecting and maintaining records of customer communications and contact information using customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Participate in weekly sales update meetings
- Complete ride days with members of the sales team to observe and assist in carrying out the sales process
- Create and foster positive customer relationships
- Keep a log of learnings throughout the internship and deliver a presentation to the manager on your learnings and any suggestions
- Resolve customer inquires and concerns

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
A Business Development Intern works in a fast-paced and dynamic environment communicating with clients, customer prospects, and sales team members. This role requires local and regional travel to complete ride days with the sales team and meet with current and potential customers.
