POSITION DESCRIPTION

As a Burn Boot Camp Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and challenging workouts in a group setting to members of all fitness levels, fostering a supportive and high-energy environment, and mentoring the training team. This position requires a passionate fitness professional who thrives on motivating others, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and contributing to the growth and success of the gym.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Training and Member Experience:

  • Lead 45-minute, high-energy group training sessions following the Burn Boot Camp protocol (approx. 20-25 camps per week).
  • Provide individualized attention and modifications during camps to ensure all members feel supported, regardless of fitness level.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of exercise science, form, and injury prevention to ensure the safety and effectiveness of workouts.
  • Build relationships with members to foster community and accountability.
  • Offer nutrition guidance and accountability support in alignment with Burn Boot Camp practices through focus meetings.

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Mentor the training team to uphold Burn Boot Camp's high standards.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure the delivery of consistent, top-tier training experiences.
  • Lead team meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.

Operational and Administrative Duties:

  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and camps run on schedule.
  • Manage Burn Boot Camp social media pages representing the brand and what Burn Boot Camp stands for.
  • Attend weekly leadership meetings, weekly check-in meetings with Franchise Partner, and lead monthly training team meetings.
  • Manage monthly training team schedule and handle all substitution requests.
  • Own assigned KPI's representing the growth of the gym, and consistently work to hit weekly goals.
  • Assist in maintaining gym cleanliness and organization.
  • Represent Burn Boot Camp at community events and promotional activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certified Personal Training certification (NASM, ISSA, ACE, ACSM, NSCA) OR 4-year Exercise Science degree.
  • CPR/AED certified.
  • 1+ year experience in personal training or coaching.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring a team.
  • Passion for fitness, nutrition, and helping others achieve their goals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and ability to motivate a group.
  • Availability to work early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
