The Data Science Intern will will perform advanced data analysis, as well as manage project strategies and resources to bring business solutions from conception to implementation. We’re looking for data-savvy individuals with a drive to grow the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze complex data sets using various statistical methods to identify patterns within data, to gain insight into process performance, and identify opportunities to enhance decision-making.
- Plan, schedule, and control activities to complete the identified goals while applying technical, theoretical, and managerial skills to meet project requirements of the project team. Collaborate with project team to outline work plan, review project scope and assign responsibilities.
- Interpret, draw conclusions, make recommendations, and present findings to customers to support business questions and promote data literacy. Assist the business to take advantage of opportunities to improve data usage, analytical processes, and business process improvements.
- Leverage current information sources including databases, process models, business requirements and other artifacts to research and resolve issues.
- Ensure new solutions are aligned with the company’s strategic goals and are scalable.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics or Engineering preferred.
- Classroom study in data analytics and predictive modeling; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Experience with Python
- Experience with SQL
- Past internship experience in consulting is a plus!
The base pay range for this internship is USD $35-45 per hour. This is a set pay range applicable to the specific San Jose, CA work location, within the San Francisco Bay Area.
