Finance & Operations Intern - Order Processing

Location: Auburn Hills, MI Type: Part-time Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Operations Intern to support our order processing and inventory management functions. This hands-on role offers excellent exposure to business operations, finance, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain inventory stock levels
  • Process vendor purchase orders and enter bills
  • Receive and log incoming goods into the system
  • Track and process customer sales orders and invoices
  • Enter and track shipments
  • Package and prepare items for shipping
  • Coordinate drop-offs at FedEx and UPS locations
  • Interface with internal staff and external customers
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally
