Project Manager Intern – Global Radio Outreach (GRO)

Are you passionate about technology, organization, and making a global impact? Global Radio Outreach (GRO) is seeking a Project Manager Intern to join our Gospel Impact Internship Program. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience managing digital mission projects while working alongside software developers, UX designers, and digital strategists to advance technology-driven outreach efforts that share the message of Jesus Christ.

Your Role: Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination:

  • Assist in planning and executing digital mission projects, ensuring alignment with GRO’s vision.
  • Develop project timelines, track progress, and ensure key milestones are met.
  • Work closely with software developers, UX designers, and digital strategists to coordinate tasks efficiently.

Team Collaboration & Communication:

  • Act as a bridge between cross-functional teams, facilitating smooth project execution.
  • Maintain clear documentation of project updates, deliverables, and progress reports.
  • Organize and lead team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and sprint check-ins.

Process Optimization & Risk Management:

  • Identify potential bottlenecks in project workflows and propose solutions.
  • Implement Agile or Scrum methodologies to streamline project execution.
  • Track dependencies and proactively address risks to keep projects moving forward.

Technology & Documentation:

  • Utilize Notion to manage project documentation, task assignments, and workflow tracking.
  • Use project management tools like Notion, Trello, Asana, or Jira to coordinate tasks and updates.
  • Support software developers and UX/UI designers in aligning product development with user needs and project timelines.

What We’re Looking For: Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Notion, Trello, Asana, or Jira.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
  • Passion for digital missions and a heart for using technology to share the Gospel.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience working with software developers or digital product teams.
  • Background in mission-driven organizations or nonprofits.
  • Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design or technical product development.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools and reporting.

Global Radio Outreach (GRO) is a nonprofit Christian organization dedicated to using innovative technology to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the Muslim world.

The Gospel Impact Internship is an 8+ week virtual program where interns collaborate with peers and mentors on projects that help people discover Jesus. Interns are encouraged to integrate faith into their work while developing solutions for digital missions.
