Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and diligent summer intern or co-op student to join our R&D team. This role offers hands-on experience in the development and testing of advanced lubricant formulations, particularly hybrid and electric vehicles applications. You will primarily work on materials compatibility studies, fluid blending, lab testing, data analysis, and reporting, but your responsibilities will not be limited to these tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory experiments with a focus on safety and precision.
- Assist in the blending of various lubricant formulations.
- Perform lab tests to evaluate the performance and compatibility of fluids.
- Analyze data and prepare detailed reports on findings.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Located in or willing to relocate to the Greater Richmond, VA area.
- Strong commitment to laboratory safety and best practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
