Social Media Marketing Intern
The law firm of Hassett & George is looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student studying marketing to gain some real-world experience. This person would be involved in creating content for the firm’s social media platforms and maintaining the firm's content calendar.
The position is available for the spring semester and could be extended through the summer. Hours are flexible and work may be done remotely. If you're local, we'd love for you to come into the office once a week. Our offices are located in Simsbury and Glastonbury, Connecticut.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compile content related to the legal work and community involvement of the lawyers in the firm.
- Develop weekly posts for the firm’s Facebook and LinkedIn platforms as well as blog posts for the firm’s website.
- Maintain the firm's social media content calendar.
- Update website with new, relevant content.
Job Qualification Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a college degree in marketing or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of social media, particularly Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Experience with Canva.
- Desire to understand and promote a professional services firm.
- Excellent work ethic, communication skills and organizational skills.
- Desire to learn and grow; ability to work independently after being given instructions.
