Now accepting new police recruit applications through March 21st, 2025 by 5:00 pm (C.D.T.). The in-person written test will take place on April 5th, 2025 at 7:00 am (C.D.T.) at the Mount Prospect Village Hall, Farley Community Room, 50 S Emerson St, Mount Prospect, IL.

  • Starting salary $81,739.00; Top salary $122,523
  • Pension Plan

  • 3-hour minimum pay for court
  • Day/Afternoon shifts work on a 5-2/5-3 day off schedule; Midnight shift works 5-3 day off schedule
