Electrical Engineering Intern

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Intern in our Salisbury, NC location. 

This role provides an opportunity to grow and develop technical competencies within Integrated Power Center and interacts with Support Teams, internally and externally, for this global leader.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design of Integrated Power Center Equipment based on our customer's plans and specifications.
• Uses CAD tools to design the control schematics, wiring diagrams, and physical layouts
• Update technical specification related to Integrated Power Center Equipment
• Update the bill of materials with instructions from the senior engineer

Qualifications

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

Pursing a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related program.

Interested in Renewable Energy, or Power Systems

Experiences in the manufacturing or design of electrical distribution systems, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD and SEE Electrical Expert.

Great verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven.
