Microbiology Laboratory Intern

  • Hourly rate: $17-22

 

Job Overview  

Our innovation center is looking to hire a Microbiology Laboratory Technician. The successful candidate will become part of a dynamic and creative team engaged in microbiological research.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform general microbiology laboratory duties, including propagating microbial cultures, performing serial dilutions, and enumerating various microorganisms, pathogen analyses using cultivation-based methods.
  • Draft relevant test methods and prepare study reports and protocol completion summaries.
  • Explore new product development opportunities.

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in microbiology-centric coursework in a university.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Interests in science and microbiological research.
  • Experience in a lab setting is preferred.
  • Aseptic techniques.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Organized and self-motivated.
