Evenflo Engineering Intern/Co-op

Paid Internship Opportunity
Basic Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Degree in Engineering, Applied Science or Technology field with a minimum of 2 years school completed
- Computer Aided Design background
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
Desired Qualifications:
- At least 2 years finished of a BSME, ESM, EE or equivalent.
- Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research or relevant internships
- Exceptional communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to engineering, marketing, and/or consumer products
- Previous Mechanical Engineering internship experience is preferred
Preferred Skills:
- 3D CAD software experience (CREO, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, etc.)
- Design for manufacturing experience
- Familiar with Plastic Injection molding process techniques
- Ability to work in a team environment
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and performs various engineering related calculations necessary to complete assigned projects
- Learns and assists in our New Product Development process
- Assists Engineering team and technical staff with 3D CAD and 2D drawing updates
- Provides prototyping support for current and future projects
- Learns and assists in the ECN implementation process
- Analyzes crash testing results and failure resolution
