Evenflo Engineering Intern/Co-op

As an intern at Evenflo, you’ll gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with teams in a fast-paced consumer product market.

Over the course of our 10-12 week internship experience you will have the opportunity to:

Paid Internship Opportunity

Basic Qualifications:

• Pursuing a Degree in Engineering, Applied Science or Technology field with a minimum of 2 years school completed
• Computer Aided Design background
• Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)

Desired Qualifications:

• At least 2 years finished of a BSME, ESM, EE or equivalent.
• Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research or relevant internships
• Exceptional communication skills and interest and enthusiasm related to engineering, marketing, and/or consumer products
• Previous Mechanical Engineering internship experience is preferred

Preferred Skills:

• 3D CAD software experience (CREO, Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, etc.)
• Design for manufacturing experience
• Familiar with Plastic Injection molding process techniques
• Ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes and performs various engineering related calculations necessary to complete assigned projects
• Learns and assists in our New Product Development process
• Assists Engineering team and technical staff with 3D CAD and 2D drawing updates
• Provides prototyping support for current and future projects
• Learns and assists in the ECN implementation process
• Analyzes crash testing results and failure resolution
