Marketing Assistant

We are currently seeking a St. Louis-based recent college graduate that is a self-motivated, highly organized, ambitious team player that enjoys a unique challenge. The focus of the Marketing Assistant will be to create sales materials and ideas for exciting products that will be sold on multiple platforms but primarily on live national TV. The position is project-based, meaning the ideal candidate would be able to manage multiple projects at once, provide accurate and timely communications to our vendor and customer partners, and can produce creative ideas on how to market products to specific consumer demographics.

International Marketing Group (IMG) is a marketing and logistics company that operates in a number of specialized markets including broadcast television shopping, premiums and incentives, daily deals, and third-party logistics (3PL). We provide several different services including marketing and sales management, direct fulfillment, inventory management, technical expertise, customer service, and more. IMG has developed strategic relationships with a multitude of vendor partners – both large and small – to build their brands and provide attractive, differentiated product offerings to end consumers within each respective industry.

Job responsibilities include:

Marketing and Administrative Support

• Create marketing documentation as required by our partners

• Create digital images and edit videos

• Manage the product setup process to make items available for sale via multiple mediums

• Manage the quality assurance process with our customers

• Provide input and ideas on how to best communicate the features and benefits of a product to consumers

• Conceptualize, create, and manage props and demonstrations

• Provide support for new business development

• Participate in order management process

Coordinating and Communicating Information

• Provide internal and external updates on the status of multiple projects

• Manage marketing assets provided by vendors

• Daily communication with key accounts

Critical Success Factors

• Flexibility and a willingness to re-prioritize as needed

• Ability to take direction from and work with people across the organization

• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• Experience with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Excellent editing skills

• Solid organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to work as a part of a team or individually

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Marketing, Business, Communications, or other relevant field

• Adobe photoshop skills a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Location: Pacific, MO
