• Write at least two stories per week related to the arts — music, movies, TV shows, fashion, books, pop culture, etc. — on campus and around the world, and turn them in on time. 
• Reach out to the photography and/or design team for visuals to accompany stories.
• Communicate effectively with your section editor.
• Attend weekly budget meetings and pitch story ideas. 
• Basic knowledge of AP style preferred
