Baseball Video Production Internship

This Internship program is for mature college undergraduates or recent graduates. Preference is given to students majoring in Media, Production, Communications or a related field, and to students using the internship for college credit. Knowledge of and love for the game of baseball is essential. Ideal candidates are those who wish to gain an invaluable experience working for a sports team or organization.

Essential Duties

Work as a crew to get 2-4 cameras streaming and mixed in with the play-by-play audio from the Communications interns. You will be setting up before the game, streaming during the game, and recording postgame interviews.

Information

-Number of Openings: 10

- Compensation: $500 stipend

- Time Commitment: Mid-May through Early-August

- Hours Per Week: 30-40 before every game

- Locations: DeLand, Leesburg, Sanford, Winter Garden, Winter Park, Orlando

- Housing: Interns are responsible for their own housing.

Responsibilities

- Live stream and produce our games every day for our national broadcasting partner: FloSports.

- Set up the cameras and make sure the feed is working

- Run the production software and choose the best angles during the action with audio mixed in

- Get a camera down to the field at the end of the game for a live postgame interview with the manager and the player of the game

- Work with the Director of Marketing, team General Managers, and interns at each game

- Produce a weekly recap show with announcements, interviews, highlights, and more

- Report to the Florida League office a few times each week
