- Compensation: $500 stipend
- Time Commitment: Mid-May through Early-August
- Hours Per Week: 30-40
- Locations: DeLand, Leesburg, Sanford, Winter Garden, Winter Park, Orlando
- Housing: Interns are responsible for their own housing.

This Internship program is for mature college undergraduates or recent graduates. Preference is given to students majoring in Marketing, Public Relations, Media, Communications or a related field, and to students using the internship for college credit. Knowledge of and love for the game of baseball is essential. Ideal candidates are those who wish to gain an invaluable experience working for a sports team or organization, have experience taking sports photos, and an ability to create graphics.
Essential Duties
Plan and execute a social media plan before, during, and after Florida League baseball games, with full access to league and team accounts on popular social media outlets such as Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok and Instagram.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging and visually pleasing content for use on Florida League and team social media channels
- Create a social media plan for your team
- Attend every game of your assigned team
- Expand the reach and impressions of each account affiliated with your team
- Assist with League streaming broadcasts and interviews when needed
- Work with the Director of Marketing, team General Managers, and interns at each game
- Produce weekly reports of activity to Florida League front office staff
