QHSE Management Systems Intern

Summary: 

  • The intern will be working with our QHSE (quality, health, safety & environmental) group to support our QHSE Management System which adheres to ISO14001, ISO45001, and AS9100. 
  • They will have the opportunity to participate in real external audits for all three of these certifications (scheduled for June & late July).
  • Their project will center around identifying and mapping CTUSA’s processes post SAP implementation including the new organizational structure & responsibilities.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of college coursework completed in in lean manufacturing/operational excellence / six sigma, process engineering, quality engineering, or business administration
  • Knowledge of safety procedures in lab setting
  • Understanding usage of Personal Protective Equipment
  • Commitment to safety and quality
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical writing skills is a plus
  • Experience with Visio is a plus
