Season Objectives

Develop Players with Excellent Body Control
- Aim: Enhance balance, coordination, and agility.
- Method: Engage in kinetic development exercises to build a strong physical foundation.

Understand Positions and Their Roles on the Field
- Aim: Introduce basic field positions.
- Method: Explain the responsibilities associated with each position to foster tactical awareness.

Master Foundational and Attacking Moves
- Aim: Ensure players are proficient in essential soccer techniques.
- Method: Focus on practicing and applying these moves effectively during training sessions and matches.
Expectations of a Step Up Coach
- Attendance: Be present at 90% of your team’s events over the span of the season. (12 of 14)
- Coaches Handbook: Understand and apply the expectations outlined in the Coaches Handbook sent with your PM Form.

Preparation:
- Know your lesson plan thoroughly.
- Bring positive energy to every session.
- Punctuality: Be on the field 15 minutes early to set up and prep.
- Accountability: Ensure your team meets the season standards and skill objectives.
- Evaluation: Coaches will be evaluated at the end of every season on their players’ ability to accomplish the Step Up season objectives.

Kinetic Development Emphasis
- Additional focus on building athleticism through dynamic, structured movement patterns to improve agility, balance, and speed.
- Integrate kinetic exercises into every warm-up session to establish consistency and skill transfer to games.

Increased Parent Involvement with At-Home Work
- Weekly homework assignments encourage parents to engage with their child’s development.
- Simple yet impactful tasks create accountability and keep players practicing foundational skills outside of sessions.

Skill Mastery By Week 7
- All players will be able to perform foundational and attacking skill moves on demand.
- Skill moves will be layered into warm-ups, drills, small-sided games, and homework assignments to ensure progression and confidence.

Graduation Expectation: U5 FF to SU in 3 seasons, SU/U7 to FCH in 3 season
- Level 1 Attends Ade skills training.
- Level 2 Attends a Practice with Select.
- Level 3 Attended a practice with Premier.
