Electrical Engineering Intern

Inteva’s Summer 2025 Intern Program includes more than your day-to-day work. Your experience will include supplemental learning and development opportunities, such as executive lunch-and-learns and professional workshops. You will support Inteva’s core value of caring for the world and our communities with group volunteering opportunities throughout the summer. Most importantly, you will have fun, learn, and grow as part of a cohort of summer interns. This is a full-time internship position during the summer (May 2025 - August 2025).

What will you get to work on?

  • Support the engineering, design, and development of new robotic sewing technologies
  • Identify, evaluate, and integrate motors, motor drives, sensors, and communication protocols into our machine controls
  • Integrate sensor inputs into Beckhoff and Allen Bradley and other auxiliary controllers
  • Support Engineering builds and shipments

Requirements

  • Computer Programming experience (past work, class projects, university courses, etc. counts as experience) (Visual Studio, C++, PLC Ladder Logic, Robot programming)
  • Mechatronics and Robotic Systems concentration preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
