The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is currently recruiting to fill their IT Development Supervisor vacancy within their central IT team. This position will lead and supervise application development efforts for the entire agency!

This position is responsible for guiding and managing development and testing efforts and staffing for new development, enhancements and maintenance of DNR custom applications. This position collaborates with the Custom Applications Section Manager to develop and apply application architecture, design, development, testing and implementation strategies in alignment with the Department’s mission and needs.

The position is responsible for development of department‐wide custom application and development of related policies, procedures and standards for technologies and tools used. This position implements and improves on quality custom application deliveries, technical services, and customer service including projects, initiatives, guidance and consultation to department stakeholders. This position is responsible for coordinating custom application development activities between DNR IT and divisions/programs and the management of development and testing best practices for these activities.
