Property Management Intern
General Summary
We are currently seeking Property Management Interns for our residential locations in Jersey City, NJ
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

Resident Onboarding:
- Assist in streamlining the onboarding process for new residents by overseeing Moved.com tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service support: including interaction with residents, resolving discrepancies, ensure keys and activated key fob readiness for each move-in.
- Collaborate with the team to improve communication and ensure residents are informed of community policies, amenities, and services.

Unit Preparation:
- Support the property management team in conducting detailed inspections to ensure units meet cleanliness and quality standards before move-ins. HappyCo
- Create daily tickler to track upcoming tasks and deadlines
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to address any issues or finalize preparations for move-in readiness.

Move-In Experience Enhancement:
- HappyCo Dashboard Review -Gather, review, and analyze resident feedback and leasing feedback to identify areas for improvement.

Financial Review and Software Introduction:
- Participate in weekly reviews of budgets and spending to understand financial planning and management.
- Gain exposure to financial software, including Canopy to track and analyze financial data effectively.

Administrative Support:
- Maintain accurate records of onboarding and unit preparation activities,
- Partner with the team to efficiently schedule vendor and contractor appointments ensuring alignment with project timelines.
- Facilitate scheduling of Pre-Move Out inspections between Resident Manager and Residents ensuring timely completion.

Special Projects:
- Assist in creating and implementing innovative solutions, such as interactive guides or video tutorials, to enhance the overall move-in experience.
- Present findings and recommendations to the team at the conclusion of the internship
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; preferably majoring in Real Estate or other related fields
- Must be a sophomore or upperclassman
- Excellent communication, written and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organization skills with attention to detail and prioritization.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
