Research and Project Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Research/Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various research projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical research and project management, with a focus on ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to supervise research teams, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in data collection and scientific integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all phases of research projects and routine office projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Must be able to maintain and respond to all of Dr. Kay's work emails
  • Must be able to manage Dr. Kay's schedule and conferences
  • Coordinate clinical trials, including participant recruitment, data collection, and monitoring of compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including defining objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Supervise research staff and provide guidance on best practices in clinical research methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and other relevant regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and information sharing.
  • Analyze data collected during research activities and prepare reports for stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and implement solutions as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in project management within a clinical or laboratory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical trials, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and compliance management.
  • Experience in data collection methodologies and scientific research practices.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in managing complex datasets.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
