Clinical Staff Pharmacist

Scott Pharmacy is seeking a part-time or full-time Clinical Staff Pharmacist in small-town Northeast Iowa who is willing and able to excel in all tasks including: checking, counseling, long-term care, hospice, disease state management, medication therapy management (MTM), medication adherence/med sync, immunizations, precepting pharmacy students, customer service, and patient care.

Scott Pharmacy is a high volume retail store with a large and growing population of patients needing clinical services through various insurance contracts (e.g., OutcomesMTM, EQuIPP, etc.), CPESN-Iowa, and CPESN-USA. We are looking for someone who can work independently and in a team, solve problems, and help supervise a large number of technicians/support staff by maintaining a supportive atmosphere. Applicant must be able to manage their time effectively and handle multiple tasks (checking scripts, answering telephones, waiting on customers, etc.) every day.

Education/Experience

-Registered Pharmacist in Iowa with Active license in good standing.
-Doctoral degree (Pharm.D.). is preferred
-Immunization Certification, or willingness to become certified within 1 year.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

-Experience with PioneerRx preferred.
-Experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel) preferred.
